Jack by the Hedge, also known as Garlic Mustard, is a biennial plant, native to parts of Europe, Asia, and Africa. During its growth period, leaves appear from the bottom and continue along the stem. The leaves remain green during winter months and during the spring small white flowers begin to blossom. This plant has a strong smell that has been compared to that of horseradish, but has a mild garlic and mustardy flavor. Traditionally, this plant was used to flavor fish, but can also be used for sauces or in salads. When out of stock, this product can be grown to order in 5 Weeks.
